Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Cupboard iOS app and the cupboard-app.com website (together, “Cupboard”). When you create an account or use Cupboard, you agree to these terms.
1. Your account
You need an account to use Cupboard. Keep your credentials private. Give us accurate information. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
2. Your content
The logs, reviews, photos, and submissions that you create are yours. When you post them, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display, and share them as the product requires. For example, we show your log to a friend that you have accepted. We also publish an establishment submission once we approve it. This licence ends for content that you delete. The licence does not end for content already shared with others as part of the service, for instance an approved establishment listing.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, or that infringes another person’s rights.
- Do not submit fake establishments, fake menus, deliberately misleading reviews, or spam.
- Do not try to access other users’ data, probe or disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it.
- Do not impersonate another person or business.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Establishment claims
Business owners can claim their establishment. We verify claims manually. We may ask for proof. We may approve, reject, or revoke a claim at our discretion. A claimed establishment has a public profile with its name, hours, menu, and photos. All users can see this profile.
5. Community data
We build the establishment directory partly from user submissions. Once we approve a submission, it becomes part of the shared directory. It stays there even if the submitter later deletes their account.
6. Purchases
Cupboard’s core features are free. If we offer a paid subscription, the App Store bills it under Apple’s terms. We show the prices and features before you buy.
7. Availability and changes
We provide Cupboard “as is”. We work to keep it available and your data safe. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change as the product develops. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice. This notice gives you a chance to export what is yours.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Cupboard. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using Cupboard at any time. You can delete your account from the app. Tap your avatar, open Account Settings, then Delete Account (see Support). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
